i4e’s Basic Membership is free to anyone interested in joining. Create your own personalized
profile for others to search and review. Search for projects on i4e.com needing collaborators, submit your interest to
Project Leaders and get invited to participate on the project at equity terms agreed to between you and the Project Leader
with the goal of completing and submitting a project through i4e’s IdeaServiceTM.

Premium Membership includes all the benefits of Basic Membership plus it allows you to create your own projects, control their development, search and invite others to work on your project that have skills you need, research your invention for patent novelty, and follow a proven process to prepare your invention for maximizing its commercialization opportunities using IdeaServiceTM.
- Create projects establishing a digital home for your invention, allowing you to save files, notes and research
- Protect your idea prior to disclosing it to others by filing a provision patent application on your initial concept
- Search other members’ profiles for the expertise you need - invite and collaborate with others to improve and complete your project
- Submit your completed project for IdeaService selecting you and your team’s equity stake and investment level
- Track progress on your invention through the full commercialization process
